LITTLE ROCK, Ark.– The Little Rock School District is unveiling the second phase of its newest campus with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Pinnacle View Middle School on Ranch Drive in West Little Rock is 230,000 square feet. The school houses state of the art educational programs with 46 classrooms for more than 500 students.
Dr. Jay Pickering, the principal says, “So last year as a sixth grade group we were in the old leisure arts building and we transformed that building into a sixth grade school and now we transformed this warehouse into a building that will house 6th, 7th, and 8th graders over the next couple of years.”
In 2016, the school started off with roughly 220 students from Fulbright, Roberts and Terry Elementary Schools.
Phase three of the project will add on eighth grade classes.
