BENTON COUNTY, AR (KNWA) – A man accused of trying to set up a murder-for-hire plot will serve 15 years behind bars.
According to court documents, on Monday, Leo Mays pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit Capital Murder.
Mays was arrested in January of 2014 after Benton County investigators say he tried to hire someone to carry out a murder for $5,000. That person turned out to be an undercover cop.
