Man Accused of Raping Woman he Met at Bar Turns Himself In

LITTLE ROCK, AR — A man accused of following a woman home from a bar then raping her in her bathroom has turned himself in.

According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), 23-year-old Colin Toatley surrendered to the court Friday morning.

PCSO issued an arrest warrant for Toatley on Thursday in relation to an incident that occurred the previous week, in which a woman told deputies she met the suspect for the first time at a bar, agreed to let him follow her home for safety, then he entered her residence uninvited and sexually assaulted her in the bathroom.

Toatley was taken to the Pulaski County Detention Facility, where he was charged with rape and second-degree terroristic threatening.

He currently remains in jail on a $150,000 bond, according to Pulaski County records.
