FAULKNER COUNTY, AR – A search is underway for a suspect after a man is found dead inside a home.
Deputies with the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) were called to the scene at 636 Highway 287 around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday.
That’s where two children had found the body of James “Buddy” Land, 49. The FCSO says he appeared to have been beaten.
Travis W. Watson, 44, of Clinton, has been named as a suspect in the case. Deputies say he should be considered armed and dangerous. He is believed to be driving a tan 4-door car that has one red door.
