FAYETTEVILLE, AR — Conner Eldridge, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Arkansas announced that Jesse Oziah, 19, will serve 55 years without the possibility of parole followed by 25 years of supervised release.
In November of 2013, Homeland Security Investigators and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received information that a person in Northwest Arkansas posted an image of child pornography on Facebook.
A warrant was issued to search Oziah’s home. An iPod Touch belonging to Oziah was discovered. Court records say the device contained multiple images of Oziah sexually assaulting an 8-year-old boy. Oziah admitted to taking the photos and videos of him assaulting the child.
On February 14, 2014, Oziah pleaded guilty to in federal court to numerous counts of Child Pornography. During the sentencing, the Government presented evidence that Oziah was actively involved in disturbing child porn over the internet.
