Man Sought in Disappearance of Real Estate Agent

Update (Sept. 29):
LITTLE ROCK, AR – The search continues for a person of interest in the case of a missing realtor from Pulaski County.

On Sunday, the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) named Arron M. Lewis, 33, as a possible suspect following an accident in which deputies said he was injured.

The PCSO said the accident involving Lewis took place in Jacksonville around 10 a.m. Sunday.

An incident report states it was a single vehicle accident in the 8700 block of Cato Road. Lewis’ vehicle went out of control and struck a culvert near Ison Road.

According to deputies, Lewis claimed someone ran him off the road.

A witness claims Lewis was traveling at a high rate of speed and went out of control in a curve, striking the concrete culvert.

Lewis was injured when he struck the windshield in the crash.

MEMS responded and took Lewis to a Little Rock hospital.

It was there that he allegedly walked out while being evaluated for head and neck injuries.

According to the PCSO, Lewis is on active parole and he has been charged with past criminal offenses in Northwest Arkansas and other states including:
  • Felony Theft of Property (Washington County Sheriff’s Office)
  • Obstruction of Government Operations, Failure to Appear misdemeanor and felony, Accomplice to Theft of Property, Theft of Property misdemeanor and felony, Unlawful Removal of Theft Device (Benton County Sheriff’s Office)
  • Out of state charges from the Kansas City Police Department and the Utah Department of Corrections.
Lewis paroled out of an Arkansas Department of Correction facility in August 2013.

Original Story (Sept. 28):
SCOTT, AR – A warrant has been issued for a individual wanted in connection with the disappearance of Pulaski County realtor Beverly Carter.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) is looking for Arron Lewis, 33.

Deputies say Lewis will have facial injuries from a vehicle accident earlier today.

Lewis is considered a person of interest in the disappearance and was treated at a hospital after being injured in the accident.

He was not detained because a warrant had not been issued at that point, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The PCSO says Aaron Lewis should be considered dangerous.

We will have more details as they become available.
