TEXARKANA, AR — Police are searching for an inmate who escaped from a Texarkana prison this afternoon.
According to Southwest Arkansas Community Correction Center, Derek Still took off running while prisoners were being taken to the exercise yard of the facility.
The prison houses non-violent offenders.
Prison officials — along with local police, the Miller County Sheriff’s office and Arkansas State Police — are currently searching for Still.
