MAYFLOWER, Ark. — The former Mayflower Police Chief pleaded guilty Wednesday morning as part of a plea deal.
Billy Baker pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor tampering charge after being accused of sending fraudulent paperwork for radar training for his officers.
Baker has already been decertified as a law enforcement officer, must pay a fine and will be placed on probation.
The lawyer for Baker says if his client completes one year of unsupervised probation the case will be dismissed.
