LITTLE ROCK, AR (News release) – New traffic modifications will begin this weekend at the I-430/630 (Big Rock) Interchange in Little Rock, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
Crews will install overhead signs and new pavement markings. They will also open the eastbound Shackleford Road overpass and the new temporary I-630 exit ramp to Baptist Health.
The traffic modifications will begin Saturday, Feb. 14 at 6 a.m. and could last until 6 p.m., weather permitting. Drivers should expect delays.
- Interstate 630 and Financial Centre Parkway eastbound traffic will be reduced to one lane between Hermitage Road/Hardin Drive and the Baptist Health exit.
- Southbound traffic on Shackleford Road will be reduced to one left turn lane to access Interstate 630 eastbound.
- Southbound traffic on Interstate 430 accessing I-630 eastbound will be required to yield to eastbound traffic coming from Financial Centre Parkway. There will be no merge lane. Traffic will be controlled using barrels and warning signs.
