LITTLE ROCK, AR (News release) – A new exit ramp will soon open on Interstate 30 in Little Rock, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
McGeorge Contracting Company was awarded a $13.4 million contract to improve the Interstate 30 and 430 Interchange. This work included the construction of new I-30 and I-430 exit ramps to lead to the I-30 frontage road and serve Otter Creek Road, Mabelvale West Road, and newly named Bass Pro Parkway.
The Interstate 430 exit ramp (Exit 128) has been completed and is open to motorists. The new Interstate 30 exit ramp, (also Exit 128), that has also been under construction is estimated to be open Wednesday, Dec. 17. Crews hope to have it open Wednesday morning, but if there is a delay, it will be Wednesday night. The existing Exit 128 ramp serving Otter Creek will be closed within 24 hours after opening the new ramp.
