SEARCY, AR — Family members of missing toddler Malik Drummond created new hope by updating posters reminding the world their little boy needs to be found.

It has been nearly four months since 2-year-old Drummond was last seen.

“I miss him so much. We were never apart before this,” said Malik’s grandmother Nancy Pain.

Pain plans to post new posters around Searcy in an effort to find her missing grandson.

“We haven’t forgotten Malik,” said Pain.

The voice behind the message written in crayon typeface comes from Malik’s twin sister Arrianna.

“They loved each other. They played and loved each other. I mean they were just always together,” said Pain.

Police say the 2-year-old went missing back in November, when he wandered away from his father’s home. Since then, the community has come together by displaying posters all over town of the boy who family says loves to smile.

“Everybody out there is looking for Malik and praying for Malik,” said Pain.

With the help of Carol’s Copy and Print donating the new posters, the family hopes to remind neighbors to keep searching.

“There’s a lot of emotions making posters, putting them out and talking to people, and handing them out,” said Pain.

So one day Arrianna will know what it’s like.

“He would be a little bit taller than her,” said Pain.

To grow up next to her brother.

“We love him and want him to come home,” said Pain.

Searcy police say they are still chasing down any leads they get. Anyone with information is urged to contact them. Family says Malik’s birthday is in June and are praying to have him home to blow out his candles.
