LITTLE ROCK, AR – More than 90,000 new recycling bins are being delivered to homes in Little Rock, North Little Rock, and Sherwood. As a reminder, residents are asked not to use the new bins until the program starts in April.
For most of Little Rock, the new “single stream” program will begin on April 2nd. For North Little Rock, Sherwood, and a small portion of Little Rock, the program begins on April 9th. Until then, you are asked to continue using your old bins.
Later in March, a folder will be mailed out detailing collection dates and specifics of the new recycling program. There is also a new “rewards program,” where you can get points for recycling and then use them to buy groceries, clothes, and other merchandise.
