WASHINGTON D.C.- New members of Arkansas’ Congressional Delegation were getting familiar with their new offices in Washington on Wednesday.
Senator-elect Tom Cotton joined other newly elected republican senators alongside new Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
Republicans French Hill and Bruce Westerman also took a tour of the Capitol.
“I think the first thing we need to do is get a budget. I hope to be part of the budget process. Until we get control of our budget, we’ll never get control of our deficit spending and our debt,” said Westerman.
All of the Freshman congressmen said they are ready to get to work.
