LITTLE ROCK, AR – Candidates in Arkansas are closing in on the last few days before all the ballots are cast.
Governor Chris Christie made a second stop to stump in the Natural State.
The GOP is trying to recruit voters in northeast Arkansas, which has been a democratic stronghold.
But republicans have made in-roads, leading some to think the area could serve to swing the most contested races one way or another.
“It’s a very important area and they could very well control the election in terms of the balance of power,” said Hutchinson.
Democratic senator Mark Pryor spent time in the northeast corner earlier this week and Bill Clinton is scheduled to campaign for Mike Ross for governor here this Sunday, as well.
