News release from Verizon Arena:
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – Verizon Arena regrets to announce that tomorrow night’s Jimmy Buffett concert, Saturday December 7th, has been cancelled due to severe winter weather conditions, including freezing rain, sleet and snow.
The National Weather Service has issued an ice storm warning for Pulaski County and the surrounding counties, prompting officials to cancel this weekend’s concert.
Michael Marion, General Manager of Verizon Arena, said “I’ve spoken personally to the Arkansas Highway Department, our local meteorologists and have read all of the reports and the conditions for this weekend are simply prohibitive for us to host Jimmy Buffett tomorrow night. We regret we have had to cancel the concert, but our patrons safety is always first and foremost.”
Refunds are available at point of purchase. Tickets purchased by phone or online through Ticketmaster will be automatically refunded.
