LITTLE ROCK, AR – A Pulaski County Circuit Court judge has granted the state’s request not to pursue a third trial for a Little Rock police officer accused of wrongfully causing the death of a 15-year-old burglary suspect in August 2012.
In his previous two trials on a charge of manslaughter, the case against Josh Hastings ended in a mistrial.
Hastings first went to trial in June 2013 and was retried three months later.
The case stems from the shooting death of Bobby Moore III, at the scene of an investigation in the parking lot of an apartment complex.
