NORTHWEST, AR – According to Arkansas State Police (ASP), a Mountainburg man is dead after an accident Southbound on I-49 shortly after 8:00 Thursday morning.
Police say the Ted Wayne Cody, 53, was traveling southbound near the Great House Springs Overpass when he lost control of his vehicle on the wet road, rolled down an embankment and struck a tree on the driver’s side.
Traffic is currently backed up, ASP is on the scene cleaning up.
