JONESBORO, AR – A person has died in a Memorial Day shooting in Jonesboro.
The shooting happened around 12:50 p.m. on W. Monroe Ave. Police say that one person was killed.
This is the fourth shooting to occur in Jonesboro during the holiday weekend.
On Saturday morning, a shooting occurred on Curtview Dr. Brian Kyle Gipson, 29, was found dead. There are no suspects at this time.
A second shooting happened on early Sunday morning. Two people were injured in the leg on Fox Meadow and police have not established any suspects.
That same evening, another shooting happened where a person was hit in the pelvic area at Garden Manor on Pine Street off of Highway 141. Again, no suspects.
