ROGERS, AR (KNWA) – A school bus carrying Rogers students was hit by a pickup truck Tuesday morning.
According to police, it happened at North Dixieland and West Hudson Road just after 7.

The bus driver, Ronald Jarvis, 54, of Rogers was driving west on W. Hudson in the turn lane approaching the intersection when he was hit by a 2008 Ford F-150 driven by Jose Rivera, 45, of Rogers.
Police say Rivera did not check his mirror before moving into the same turn lane, so he did not see the bus.
There were about a dozen students on board the bus but no injuries were reported. Medics were sent to the scene as a precaution.
Rivera was ticketed for careless driving.
