PINE BLUFF, AR – Pine Bluff Police Department officials say an angry girlfriend set a duplex on fire.
Friday afternoon around 2:45, officers responded to a duplex on W. 9th Ave that was on fire.
After investigating, Jaresha Battles, 23, was arrested. According to authorities, Battles was angry with her boyfriend and set his duplex on fire while he was at work.
She was taken to the Jefferson County Jail and faces arson charges and is expected to appear in court sometime next week.
No one was injured and monetary damage to the residence has not been determined at this time.
