LITTLE ROCK, AR — The New Africa Alliance celebrates leadership in the community tonight.
The goal of the Alliance is to build new leaders and remember the old.
Tonight, they honored 24 pioneers for their service in the city.
Honorees included Mayor Mark Stodala, Rev. Rickey Hicks and local business owner Charles Hardy, to name a few.
Muhammad Rasheed said, “People have been paving a way for us young people to this day and we’re here to celebrate them and we very much appreciate it.”
The award reception also included music and a meal.
