LITTLE ROCK, AR – Today around 2:30 p.m. officers responded to demonstrators inside the Victory Building at 1401 W. Capitol in Little Rock.
According to the Little Rock Police Department, 75 to 100 demonstrators with the national group ADAPT were seeking to attend a meeting to be held inside the building.
Police say those conducting the meeting asked that the demonstrators leave the property and 36 participants refused to leave and were later arrested and charged with criminal trespassing.
They were taken to a nearby location, issued a citation and released.
According to police those arrested were transported using three to four buses from Central Arkansas Transit.
No one was injured and no force was used to make these arrests.
