ROGERS, AR (KNWA) – A Rogers man has been arrested on charges he sexually assaulted two 7-year-old girls.
Police say Anthony Bauman Jr, 59, was arrested Saturday for two counts of Sexual Assault 2nd Degree, a Class B Felony.
Detectives began investigating Bauman on August 28 after Arkansas State Police Child Abuse Hotline received a call he had inappropriate sexual contact with girls.
Police say Bauman was a family friend of the girls he’s accused of assaulting.
Bauman was taken to Benton County Sheriff’s Office to be held for bond hearing.
