LITTLE ROCK, AR – The third-highest Powerball jackpot is up for grabs in Wednesday night’s drawing.
It was an already jaw-dropping $450 million when ticket sales boosted it to $485 million before noon today.
The cash value of the grand prize is $327.7 million.
The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery shares these Powerball facts in advance of the big draw:
- The last Powerball jackpot higher than this was on November 28, 2012 ($587 Million).
- The largest Powerball jackpot that was ever won (to date) was $590 Million on May 18, 2013.
- There hasn’t been a Powerball jackpot winner since November 29, 2014.
- The Powerball Saturday night had over 11,448 players win a cash prize in Arkansas.
- The Powerball Saturday draw had over 261,000 tickets sold for a chance to win in Arkansas.
In other lottery news, tonight’s Mega Millions jackpot is $61 million and the Natural State Jackpot is $205,000.
