LONOKE COUNTY, AR – Lonoke County assessor Jack McNally, 58, has been arrested on multiple charges including credit card fraud and theft of property, according to the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office.
The Lonoke Co. prosecuting attorney says McNally was arrested on Thursday morning and is being held at the Lonoke Co. jail with no bond.
His first court hearing will be Friday morning at 8:30 at the Sheriff’s Office.
The prosecuting attorney did not release many details, but did say that some of the charges are connected to a 2011 audit that found McNally used a city credit card to make gasoline purchases totaling $20,000.
McNally’s charges are:
1 count of Credit Card Fraud
1 count of Theft of Property
1 count of Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons
2 counts of Violation of Political Practice Pledge
1 count of Violation of Voter Eligibility
