LITTLE ROCK, AR – An inmate has been found dead at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office released information on the incident Monday afternoon.
The PCSO report states that Troy Rupe, 64, of Star City, was found lying face down on the floor shortly before 5 a.m. Monday. The report notes that he was bleeding from the nose.
He was taken to UAMS by ambulance and pronounced dead there about an hour later.
The PCSO says Rupe’s death is believed to be natural, but the exact cause is still pending from the State Medical Examiner’s Office.
