Record Setting Fundraising for 2nd District Candidate French Hill

Little Rock, Ark.—The campaign of Little Rock businessman and Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives (AR-2), French Hill, announced fundraising numbers for the fourth quarter of 2013. French Hill raised a total of $568,000 and maintains $534,000 cash on-hand. 83 percent of the total was raised in-state and 70 percent was raised within the Second District.

The fundraising numbers represent the best first quarter fundraising for any Arkansas Republican congressional candidate in recent history.  The campaign has no loans.  Rep. Tim Griffin (R-AR) currently holds the seat and recently decided not to seek reelection.  French Hill announced his candidacy on October 29, 2013, which allowed for only two months of fundraising.

“I was humbled to see such an outpouring of support for my candidacy for U.S. Congress.  We have a lot of work ahead of us, and I invite citizens to join my campaign by visiting www.ElectFrench.com and supporting us financially as well as signing up to volunteer,” said French Hill.  “But this is just the beginning of our fight. When elected to Congress, I will fight for greater accountability about how our tax dollars are spent.  I will advocate for policies that increase economic growth, jobs, and family income.  I will work to empower Arkansans, not Washington bureaucrats, when it comes to matters like personal healthcare choices and education.”
