LITTLE ROCK, AR– An Arkansas journalist, known for strengthening the Freedom of Information Act, has died.
Robert McCord passed away Saturday.
He started taking pictures and writing for the newspaper at 15 years old.
McCord later owned The Times of North Little Rock.
He was also a long time editor and columnist for the Democrat Gazette and The Arkansas Times.
McCord was 84 years old.
