HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) — The National Park Service will close a road that leads into Hot Springs National Park to clean up litter over the weekend.
Park Service officials say Gulpha Gorge Road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, weather permitting.
Officials say closing the road will enable park volunteers from the Ouachita Mountain Hikers to pick up litter safely.
No through traffic will be allowed that morning, but there will be access to Gulpha Gorge Campground and Sleepy Valley Road.
