ROGERS, AR (KNWA) – A local firefighter is recovering after being injured in the line of duty.
According to Fire Chief Tom Jenkins, crews responded to a house fire on 2605 West Dogwood Street early Monday morning.
No one was inside the house at the time of the fire, but one firefighter did sustain an injury to the neck and shoulder.
Chief Jenkins said lightning was the probable cause of the fire.
