MAGNOLIA, AR (KTVE) – One man is dead and another injured after a wreck Wednesday night.
According to police, 20-year-old Jacob A. Shireman of Mayflower and 24-year-old Jeffery Teague of El Dorado were driving in Magnolia when Teague apparently lost control of his Toyota pickup truck on a curve and struck a mobile home being pulled by a flatbed trailer.
The accident happened along Jackson St. about 11:15.
Shireman, a freshman pre-nursing major, died at the scene. Teague, a junior accounting major, was taken to Magnolia Regional Medical Center and then transferred to Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. There’s no further word on his condition.
Police say road conditions were not a factor.
