Search for Missing Treatment Center Juvenile

BRYANT, AR — The staff at the Arkansas Juvenile Assessment and Treatment Center is searching for a 17-year-old who’s been missing since Saturday night.

Officials said the center sits on 108 acres, so searching for the juvenile is taking some time. Staff members said they are unsure if the teen is outside the premises or still on campus.

Brandon Price was last seen in the rec room around 8 p.m. Officials say after he bolted out of the door he hasn’t been seen since. Canines were brought in to search for Price but have had no luck. Authorities said they believe Price might be still within the confines because there is no signs he might have escaped.

“There was nothing on the razor wire to indicate he may have gone over, no torn clothes or blood to indicate he got over,” said DHS Communications Director Amy Webb.

Price is 5-foot-5, 110 pounds and he was last seen wearing a white shirt and khaki pants. Price was in the center for a non-violent misdemeanor and was only there for two months. Officials say if you see him now you’re urged to call police.
