SEBASTIAN COUNTY, AR – A Sebastian County man and woman have been arrested after the Drug Task Force found prescription drugs in their home.
The 12th /21st Drug Task Force (DTF) began an investigation several weeks ago into prescription drug sales that were coming from a residence on Bear Creek Loop in Sebastian County.
Agents were able to purchase OxyContin and hydrocodone pills from the man and woman living there on two different occasions.
On Monday DTF agents served a search warrant for the home.
According to the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office three children were inside the home at the time of search.
Derrick Harp, 36, and Amanda Matlock, 27, were arrested. Harp and Matlock were charged with Delivery and Possession with Intent to Deliver Schedule I or II narcotics, Delivery and Possession with Intent to Deliver Schedule III narcotics; Possession of Schedule IV or V with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Maintaining Premises for Drug Sales, and 3 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Minor. Matlock was also charged with Tampering with Evidence.
Harp was arrested in April for 2nd Degree Battery on a Minor.
This case is still pending.
