SEBASTIAN COUNTY, AR (News Release) — The Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office arrested Angela Driggers, 43 years of age and of Fort Smith, on a warrant for failing to comply with registration as a sex offender.
Driggers was registered with the SCSO as living on Gerald Holt Way in the Hackett area. In October of 2013, an eviction notice was served upon her at her residence on Gerald Holt Way.
Deputies working compliance checks came upon this information recently. The investigation revealed Driggers was living in Fort Smith. She had not changed her address of record per her sentencing requirements. Driggers did not notify the SCSO or the FSPD of her change of address.
Deputies obtained a warrant for Driggers and served the warrant on Thursday. The warrant had a $20,000 bond.
Driggers was convicted of sexual assault fourth degree out of Van Buren in 2002. Driggers was assessed as Level III offender. Level III is defined as a high probability to re-offend.
Driggers has had three arrests since 2005 for failing to comply with her sentencing requirements.
