GREERS FERRY LAKE, AR – On Monday, Game and Fish discovered a drowning victim identified as 28-year-old Carlos Walker of Osceola at around noon in Greers Ferry Lake.
His body was recovered in 82 feet of water.
The incident happened shortly after 1:30 p.m. Sunday in a cove near Dam Site Park.
According to the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office, Walker was attempting to swim from a boat to retrieve a floating noodle when he got in trouble and went under.
Authorities say it was an accident.
