SHERWOOD, AR – A Sherwood man is behind bars for drug possession after a traffic stop on Tuesday night.
Shortly before 9 p.m. a Sherwood Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on East Main Street due to a traffic violation and discovered marijuana, drug items, and a handgun in the vehicle.
The driver 20-year-old Dustin Scott Welch was arrested for Possession of a controlled substance, Possession of drug paraphernalia, and Carrying a weapon.
