NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – Sixty-five local students got a jump start into the new school year today.
The Salvation Army of Central Arkansas selected the children for a shopping spree at Target to pick out much-needed school supplies and clothes.
Target gave all of the students an $81 gift card to get the items they needed.
Parents said they appreciate the two organizations that joined together to make this possible.
“My money is a little low this year. I was wondering how I was going to get my son’s school clothes,” said mom Shafonda Fuller.
Students in Bryant, Little Rock, and North Little Rock were selected to go on the shopping spree.
