STEPHENS, AR – A small town in Ouachita County has lost its city hall to fire.
According to the Magnolia Reporter, the blaze broke out on First Street in Stephens around 10:30 p.m. Thursday.
Photos on the Facebook page of the Ouachita County Sheriff’s Office show the building engulfed in flames and the fire’s aftermath that left a burned out shell.
The Magnolia Reporter says the building housed city hall, the mayor’s office, the police department, water department, city court clerk, Chamber of Commerce and a state revenue office.
