SEARCY, AR – Searcy Police took to social media to address rumors related to the disappearance of Malik Drummond.
On the department’s Facebook page, it reads “there is a rumor on media Facebook pages that we have found Malik and will be making the announcement soon. We have NOT found Malik. We are still searching for him.”
Searcy Police chief Jeremy Clark says the rumors do not have an adverse effect of their investigation into the missing 2-year old.
Drummond was reported missing November 23rd.
A volunteer search for the toddler ended December 1st.
Multiple searches of Riverside Park in Searcy and the Little Red River have not yielded additional information on the whereabouts of Drummond.
