LITTLE ROCK, AR – The Arkansas Foodbank is gearing up for its summer feeding sites program.

It’s designed to replace free- and reduced-price meals that children would normally get at school after school has dismissed for the summer.

Meals will be provided at the sites and times as follows:
  • Boys and Girls Club of Ashley County – 203 W. 6th Ave., Crossett. Monday – Friday from June 8 through August 7. Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and lunch will be served from noon to 1 p.m.
  • Camden Housing, Ivory Heights – 4100 Ivory Heights, Camden. Monday – Friday, from June 8 through August 7. Breakfast will be served from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Camden Housing, Lincoln Center – 600 Lincoln Center, Camden. Monday – Friday, from June 8 through August 7. Breakfast will be served from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Harvest Fellowship Worship Center, 9010 Hilaro Springs Rd., Little Rock. Monday – Friday from June 16 through August 14. Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Geyer Springs United Methodist Church, 5500 Geyer Springs Rd., Little Rock. Monday – Thursday from June 16 through July 23. Breakfast will be served from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and lunch will be served from noon to 1 p.m.
  • Oak Forest United Methodist Church, 2415 Fair Park Blvd., Little Rock. Monday – Friday from June 16th through August 14. Breakfast will be served from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and lunch will be served from noon to 1 p.m.
  • UALR Children International, 2510 Fair Park Blvd., Little Rock. Fridays from July 10 through July 31. Snack will be served from 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The Arkansas Foodbank says meals will be provided to all children without charge and the same meals will be served to all children, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.
