LITTLE ROCK, AR — A federal judge has set a date for the trial to determine whether the Natural State’s new 12-week abortion law is legal.
The two sides will go to court March 17 of next year.
On behalf of two Arkansas doctors, the ACLU is challenging the law that bans abortions after 12 weeks.
The law was set to go into effect in August, but a federal court blocked that from happening earlier this month.
