LITTLE ROCK, AR – Two drivers have been killed when their vehicles collided head-on in south Arkansas.

It happened Monday morning just before 8 on U.S. Highway 167 North near the town of Ivan, about eight miles north of Fordyce.

The Arkansas State Police (ASP) accident report identifies the victims as Daniel L. Ashley, 27, of Conway and Charles W. Womack, 21, of New Edinburgh (Cleveland County).

The report states that Ashley was headed south in a 2006 Toyota when his vehicle crossed into the path of Womack’s 2002 Kia that was headed north.

The ASP report noted conditions as foggy and wet at the time of the accident.
