ROGERS, AR (KNWA) – Two drownings were reported Monday on Beaver Lake.
In the first incident, crews were called in at 5 p.m. to search for Sean Kelley, 21.
The Benton County Sheriff’s Office says the drowning happened near Pleasure Heights Rd. and Fords Rock Landing at Martin Bluff.
Dive teams recovered Kelley’s body shortly after 8 p.m.
Deputies say he had jumped into the lake from a cliff.
The second drowning was reported around 7:30 p.m. in a day use area of Horseshoe Bend Park.
Benton County dive team members recovered the body of Wilson Laibwij, 17.
Deputies on the scene said he was attending a Marshallese family outing.
The boy’s body was recovered at 11:15 Monday night.
