Update (July 27):
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – A Bryant man has been arrested for two weekend robberies.

The North Little Rock Police Department says Christian Jamal Ellis, 19, was charged Monday with two counts of Aggravated Robbery and two counts of Theft of Property.

Ellis is accused of robbing the Clothes Mentor store in Lakewood Village on Sunday afternoon.

Police say he was armed with a gun when he demanded the cash from the register.

After taking an undisclosed amount of money, he left the store in a blue Ford Expedition that police say he admitted to stealing at gunpoint in Little Rock earlier that morning.

Ellis is being held at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility without bond. He is scheduled to appear in North Little Rock District Court on Tuesday.
