LITTLE ROCK, AR – The latest from the Clinton National Airport:

-Airlines are resuming normal operations at Clinton National Airport

-There were 28 cancellations today, primarily through late morning
-Airport staff will continue using broom trucks to keep our main runway dry to prevent refreezing overnight
-Passengers should still check carriers website for delays/cancellations before coming to the airport

-As of 11:30, airlines have cancelled 28 flights for today.
-The airport remains open and operational.
-Our main runway and taxiway surfaces are clear. 
-Please check with your air carrier on the status of afternoon and evening flights before coming to the airport.

-At this point, airlines have cancelled 19 flights for today.
-The airport is open and operational.
-Our main runway and taxiways have been cleared. 
-Airfield crews used plows and brooms, on a continuous basis, overnight to clear surfaces as snow fell.
-Southwest Airlines, no flights until after 11 a.m. today.
-On United Airlines, no flights until after 10:30 a.m.
-Delta Airlines, no flights until 8:30 a.m. 
-Please note that not all flights have been cancelled.

LITTLE ROCK, AR (News Release) – The Clinton National Airport releases this update:

Clinton National Airport Update

-From this evening through tomorrow, airlines have cancelled 39 flights due to weather concerns.

-Southwest has cancelled service to and from LIT until at least 10:30 am tomorrow.

-All of Southwest Airlines late afternoon and evening Little Rock arrivals and departures were cancelled for today.

-On United Airlines, no flights after 6 p.m. this evening with the first flights tomorrow not departing until at least 9:30am.

-Delta Airlines cancelled the last of its evening flights and the first flight out for tomorrow morning.

-Please note that not all flights have been cancelled.

-Please check the airport website at www.clintonairport.com, or your air carrier’s website, for the latest on flight status before coming to the airport.

-The airport remains open and operational thanks to our dedicated airfield staff.

-Our airfield crew will be working all night using plows to remove additional sleet from our main runway and taxiway and use broom trucks to keep surfaces dry.

-We currently have 35 employees that are working on our airfield and parking areas.
