Update: Escaped Conway Co. Inmate Turns Herself In

Update (May 11):
CONWAY COUNTY, AR – According to the Conway County Sheriff’s Office, an inmate who escaped from the Conway County Detention Center last week is back in custody.

The Sheriff’s Office says Amber Garrison, 23, turned herself in to Pope County authorities just after noon on Monday.

Garrison escaped on Thursday night, then stole a vehicle that was later found just outside of Ola in Yell County.

CONWAY COUNTY, AR – The Conway County Sheriff’s office is reporting an inmate from the Conway County Detention Center Unit 2.

Deputies say Amber Garrison, 23, was able to escape at 10:30 Thursday night. The sheriff’s office says she was then able to steal a vehicle which was later found just outside of Ola in Yell County. 

Garrison was last seen wearing a gray hoodie with black lettering, black plants, and slip on shoes. 

Authorities believe Garrison is still in the Yell County/Ola area.

The Sheriff’s Office describes Garrison as being 5’6″, weighing 136 pounds, and has hazel eyes.
