UPDATE: Escaped prisoner apprehended by police

PRARIE COUNTY, AR – Police have apprehended an inmate who escaped police custody on foot after a court hearing in DeValls Bluff Monday morning, according to the Prairie County Sheriff’s Department.

According to Detective Bill Duerson of the Prarie County Sheriff’s Department, Bradley J. Biddle was found and arrested outside of Devall’s Bluff. Biddle escaped from a court hearing related to a misdemeanor sentence stemming from a prior charge.

Police say Biddle may now face new felony charges as a result of the escape.
