JACKSONVILLE, AR – A Jacksonville mother has been arrested and charged with in the death of her 2-year-old son.
Police say Jessica Rollins, 24, was arrested on charges of 1st Degree Murder and Introduction of controlled substance into the body of another person.
Two-year-old Ka’Marion Hughes’s death was back in August of 2014 and initially called in and reported, police say as respiratory arrest.
It happened just three days after a 2-month-old boy also died suddenly in the same Jacksonville apartment complex.
Initially, Rollins blamed her son’s death on where they lived.
