Update (1:50 p.m.):
LITTLE ROCK, AR – Police have released the names of two local men arrested minutes after a bank robbery.
Derrick Galvin, 20, and Myron Thompson, 22, both listed as homeless, are charged with aggravated robbery and theft of property in the holdup this morning at the U.S. Bank on West Markham St. near Park Plaza.
According to the police report, Galvin approached a teller and threw a black bag before jumping on the teller counter armed with a handgun and demanding cash be put in the bag.
The report states that Thompson stayed in the lobby as a lookout.
Police responding to the scene first encountered the suspects at South Hughes and I-630 as they ran from the bank. They were taken into custody after a brief footchase.
The police report also noted that a bank worker recognized one of the suspects as having been in the bank on Monday wearing purple latex gloves and acting suspiciously.

It happened around 9:25 Tuesday morning at the U.S. Bank branch at 6320 West Markham, located near Park Plaza.
