Update: June 3, 2015
SEARCY, AR – Searcy Police have identified the man who was found dead in Gin Creek.
After a preliminary exam by the state crime lab, the death of Stephen William Durk, 26, of Kensett was caused by an accidental drowning.
There was no indication of foul play.

SEARCY, AR – Police are investigating after a man’s body is found in Gin Creek.
On Tuesday at 3 p.m., officers with the Searcy Police Department were called to the scene in an area off of Moore Street.
The body is being sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab to determine the cause of death.
The identification of the body will be released after next of kin can be found.
